Summary
The East Hawaiʻi Region of Hawaiʻi Health Systems Corporation is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our expanding behavioral health team. This position provides clinical assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for individuals and families across the lifespan, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care environment rooted in the values and needs of the Big Island community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to adults, couples, and families utilizing a range of modalities, including"
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Mindfulness-based therapies (e.g., MBCT, MBSR) and psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches, as clinically indicated.
Practice Environment
Outpatient-focused behavioral health setting serving a diverse, multicultural population

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Hawaiʻi, or license-eligible with the ability to obtain licensure promptly
Clinical Social Worker (CSW)
Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT)
Mental Health Counselors (MHC)
Clinical experience providing direct therapeutic services to individuals and families
Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities
Strong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience serving Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and multicultural populations with cultural humility and awareness
Familiarity with the social determinants of health as they present in rural Hawaiʻi
Training or experience in trauma-informed care models adapted for culturally diverse setting

Salary Range
$75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per Year
